What happens during a Laser Genesis treatment?
Laser Genesis works by gently heating the upper dermis deep beneath the skin’s surface to stimulate collagen regrowth. The energy emitted from the laser is concentrated on areas to reduce dilated capillaries and redness. Some patients have described the sensation during the treatment as warmth similar to a nice day at the beach.
What should I expect after a Laser Genesis treatment?
Mild redness and warmth of the treatment area are common and should resolve within a few hours. A healthy glow and slight firming of the skin are noticeable post-treatment, although the best results continue to develop up to 6 months after a Laser Genesis series.
How many treatments will I need?
Most patients will require 4 to 6 treatments in order to reach the desired results. Laser Genesis can also be combined with other laser procedures, treatments, and/or skin care products to achieve maximum benefits. Dermacare offers Laser Genesis as one of its monthly treatment options in the Dermacare Difference VIP Programs. To learn about these very popular programs click on the links below.
