What is Volux XC?

How does Volux XC work?
Volux XC is a crystal-clear, hyaluronic acid gel that is injected into the jaw by one of our skilled clinicians to improve jawline definition. It temporarily adds volume to augment the shape and structure of the lower face and results in improved jawline definition. The “XC” in Volux XC refers to lidocaine in the gel to improve the comfort of the injection by reducing sensitivity to pain.

Jennifer is in her 60’s and has had some loss of volume and definition in her jawline. How long does it last?
Volux XC lasts up to 1 year, with optimal treatment.
What are the potential side effects?
Most side effects were mild or moderate in nature with duration of 14 days or less—35% of side effects lasted up to 30 days. The most common side effects were temporary reactions at the treatment site, such as tenderness, lumps/bumps, pain, swelling, firmness, bruising, redness, itching, and discoloration. As with all skin-injection procedures, there is a risk of infection.
