Welcome Letter from Jennifer Barkley

I would like to personally thank you for your interest in Dermacare Laser and Skin Care Clinics. The world of laser and skin aesthetics is rapidly changing and expanding, and you may be wondering how to choose the right clinic. If cutting edge technology, exceptional personal service and experienced medical professionals who are passionate about achieving results are important to you, then you have found the right clinic.

Since opening our doors in February of 2006 Dermacare has been providing local clientele with the most comprehensive care for skin rejuvenation. The high-tech equipment and products at our clinic are, as one client put it, “as exciting as a day at Disney’s EPCOT”. To guide you around the office are our amazing staff members, who refer to themselves and our clients as “family”. This welcoming and joyful attitude is apparent from the minute you walk through the door.

The clinicians and staff at Dermacare truly make a difference in people’s lives, not only in the clinic, but in the community as well by Dermacare’s unique philanthropic efforts. The DermacareCARES charitable program was originally created in 2006 to extend specialized acne treatment services, at no charge, to teens in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Over the years, DermacareCARES has also provided tens of thousands of dollars worth of services, products, and monetary donations to local charitable and non-profit organizations including Child Advocacy Center, Peaceful Paths, and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer to name just a few. In 2024, Dermacare was once again a proud Survivor Level Sponsor of this year’s Making Strides Walk fundraising event.

Since 2008 DermacareCARES adopted an additional focus–providing funding and supplies for medical missions and other outreach projects in the Dominican Republic. DermacareCARES has provided the necessary funding to send a team of hardworking, dedicated individuals to the Dominican Republic to provide medical care to hundreds of villagers in the poorest areas of the capital city, Santo Domingo. For 11 years, a project that was near and dear to our hearts was Camp Hands of Joy – a camp for Deaf children in the Dominican Republic until the COVID pandemic prohibited its continuance. I feel so blessed to have a staff who not only care deeply about each other and their clients, but also care about other people who are in need locally and internationally, and choose to “give back”.
