Update from the UF Benefits Fair - October 26, 2011
“What a great time we had at the University of Florida Benefits Fair! It was so nice to meet so many new people. All day we had people coming up to our booth asking, “Can you do anything to help my brown spots?” My answer to them was, “Yes! In fact, getting rid of brown spots is one of the more gratifying things we do because our clients are so happy with their results”. We have topical prescription products, chemical peels, and several different lasers that target browns spots to improve clarity. “I used to have a really hard time with using Latisse because I wear contacts and my eyes would be red in the morning when I put it on at night. After going to an Allergan dinner about Latisse, I found out that it’s okay to use it in the morning instead and just wait 15 minutes before putting in contacts. This is less irritating because it isn’t pooling on the eye all night. I have been using it successfully now for 5 weeks and my lashes are visibly thicker and longer. And my eyes are white!”

“I had a new patient that came in complaining that she always looks sad. She stated that her friends and family are constantly asking her why she looks so down all of the time. One of our other clients, who is also a friend of hers, told her that she could correct this problem by having a dermal filler done at Dermacare. I treated her with Juvederm Ultra Plus to fill in the marionette lines that were causing a downward turn of her mouth and making her appear sad. She looks great and now her appearance reflects how she feels on the inside… HAPPY!”
